Water Drops

Water Drop Sculpture
Here are some of the most amazing shots of water drops I’ve ever seen. With digital cameras it makes it so easy for anyone to try out techniques which would have tried anyones patience with just film.

There’s many unique examples which could never be duplicated again. For me that’s what makes it so special, the fact that each photo is a capture of time of a drop in motion. The colours and shapes are breathtaking! I couldn’t believe a drop’s faster than a second descent to the ground could be so interesting.

that is an amazing shot…it almost doesn’t look like water. it could even be water falling, with the picture just reveresed if u think abt it. though i wonder, why is it easier with a digital camera than it is with film? is it cuz it’s easier to see what u’ve done after u’ve taken the shot?

Yeah digital makes it easier. As you can quickly review shots but most importantly you can take as many shots as you like. With film you’re limited to the maximum shots on the roll and you have to wait to have it processed.

It can end up being expensive. After I bought my digital camera I was shooting everything with it. It can really quicken the learning curve in photography.
