As you can quickly review shots but most importantly you can take as many shots as you like. With film you're limited to the maximum shots on the roll and you have to wait to have it processed. It can end up being expensive. After I bought my digital camera I was shooting everything with it. It can really quicken the learning curve in photography. Yeah digital makes it easier.
